Thanksgiving Pretzel Turkeys (JUST...in time!)

It is that time of year again....Thanksgiving!

Help show your appreciation for your family, God and your many countless blessings.  We love to bake in our kitchen, anything from homemade cookies, Amish cinnamon bread to cake pops and chocolates. So, when I saw a different version of a "Turkey Pretzel", I thought that this would be a fun snack to make and eat for the kiddos, with a slight twist!

Check out how simple these Turkeys
(Pretzel Turkeys, that is!
are to make!

Ingredients:
  • Pretzels (we like Rold Gold small)
  • Candy Corn
  • Rolos
  • M&Ms
  • Sugar Pearls

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 300*.

On a cookie sheet (lined with parchment paper) line up your pretzels (salt side down, please) so they look something like this:

Put three (3) candy corns on end by starting with the middle one, then put the other two (2) candy corns angled next to it:

Please unwrapped ROLO on top:

Put your cookie sheet in the oven for about two (2) minutes, or until the rolos are just starting to get soft.

Push down the ROLO (which are melty at this point) when you place the Sugar Pearl eyes down onto them and half of the M&M for a beak. To get the eye dots, use a toothpick and dab into the melted ROLO and place on the sugar pearl.

Now, let cool for 30 minutes, cover and enjoy
