Hi ya'll!

Here I am, sharing with you all on the 6th of July...SHOUTING from the ROOFTOPS - - - Happy 4th!

OK.

I am not crazy...well...maybe a little... but due to the activities that took place this past weekend...and just waking up (not really although I do wish...) I wanted to stop by and say HAPPY 4th to everyone and see how your holiday went....I mean with it being on a Tuesday and all this week.

I have been referring to this week as The Wacky Week because...seriously...

  • work on Monday...
  • OFF on Tuesday....
  • then back Wednesday
  • Thursday
  • and Friday.

Crazy, right!

And since the vacation time is not here...just yet...
I am going through the flow...like a zombie...but Hey Hey, I'm still here, on time...KILLING IT! #asif

So, let's get down to the WHAT'S UP...

What did ya'll do?

Here's our story...in pictures:

This is the face of my child who is mad as could be... to be sitting in timeout because she keeps stealing her sisters barbie. But...this makes NO SENSE she tells me... #add2 #timeout #thepout #soupset#barbiebrat
Ps...her sister is sitting out with her...just because#bestlittlesis #support #justbecause

Um... Kit Kat is clearly #marshmellowwasted

Snow...just kidding...it just the weeds on the back two...

So, clearly you can see that we did a lot of:
  • SWIMMING....
  • a little Time-Out time...
  • Selfie's :)
  • and got MarshmEllow Wasted...
I mean, who didn't?

But, we also watched a heck of a firework display care of our awesome neighbors on Saturday evening and the Hubs and Oldest kiddo went to see our friends kick butt fireworks display last night....

so the question remains...

IS the 4th of JULY OVER?

TBD.

So, from our family...to yours- we wish you a
HAPPY 4th
(sure it's a little late) and I encourage YOU to share you stories and pics!

Until next time...

The 3 S’s To Making Stuff Happen for YOUR Business & for YOU

By: Kel Amstutz

The 3 S’s to Making STUFF Happen for YOUR Business & for YOU

Do YOU have BIG DREAMS for your business...but you hear yourself saying...

"How can I make this happen?"

You are not alone in this thinking. Everyone gets stuck sometimes, but the thing about making what you want to happen in your business is that you NEED to be strategic about it.

Here are 3 things that you have got to do when you are planning a new income goal or creating your money mindset

#1 GET SPECIFIC

You should already be asking yourself questions about what your goals are.
Now, it's time to GET SPECIFIC with your goal(s).
Do not do anything else other than get specific, and I mean really specific

Allow yourself to DREAM BIG and be 100% honest with what you want to make happen

Don't just say 'I want to make a sale this month' or 'I want to have more money.'
Say, 'I want to make 5 sales this month', 'I want to make $5,000 from my business this month', 'I want to work 25 hours a week 5 days a week'.

This is how specific you need to be in order to get if you are going to make your BIG BUSINESS goals happen

Why?

Well, you need that level of clarity to know what you are working towards, to help you figure out what steps to take next, AND the universe needs that clarity, it needs to know that it needs to send you 5 clients this month.

The second part of getting specific with your goals, is figuring out why it is important to you.

Your why is your driving factor and without it, you won't be able to gain the momentum or proper motivation in order to make this all happen.

Once you have specific goals determined and know your WHY,
you have got to now how you will stay focused on these goals.

#2 STAY FOCUSED

Being focused and staying focused on the end result that you are working towards is extremely important when it comes to making your income goals happen.  Of course, it is important to take time for yourself, have fun, and feel abundant, but you have to create a practice for yourself that keeps you focused on increasing your income.  There are going to be road blocks that will distract you with the newest fads or trends but you need to remain focused on your goals within your business.

Remind yourself:
  • What can bring you money now?
  • What it feels like to make money today?
  • What it feels like to reach your income goal?
  • What can you do next to get a sale?

KEEP YOUR FOCUS!

#3 SELF-EDUCATE YOURSELF

Sometimes, starting something new, something that perhaps we don't know anything about, we can get discouraged and overwhelmed

Our mindset gets cloudy and we think "I can't make this happen" and fall into a state of inaction because you are unsure of things.

So, how do you combat this overwhelming feeling?

It's pretty simple, you educate yourself!
  • Write down your questions and start googling.
  • Don't ignore all the resources that are around you.

Make a list of what scares you, or what you feel you don't know and then start researching, start reading. When it comes to the game of entrepreneurship, you need to be willing to put in the work and make things happen

So, what is your new income goal?

So, after making this SHOCKING discovery, I got to work [busy me] getting everything re-proofed (like, seriously) and re-PUBLISHED, which then caused my own INBOX to go CRAZY with Life at Gray Gables notifications.

AGHHH.

My Bad...

So, I wanted to make sure that I let you all know that I AM SORRY!

This is temporary and will not happen again
[ lord help me ]

5 Tips for Stay at Home Moms

Being that my life is about to be a bit more flexible (details to come) - I am reaching out to all the stay at home Mommy's out there!

20 Quotes For Challenging Times:

What is your BIGGEST Challenge with being a
Stay at Home Mom?

How do you handle the flexibility through the day?

"In your morning prayers each day, ask Heavenly Father to guide you to recognize an opportunity to serve one of His precious children." - M Russell Ballard:
I am a list person and have put together five (5) things that I wanted to share on how I 'plan' on handling my new found freedom of being out of the brick and mortar.
Maybe it can help other Moms who are as apprehensive about transitioning into the Stay at Home Mom field.

Tips for Stay at Home Moms

  1. Create a schedule.  - I am a very visual person and tend to list out everything that I wish to complete and feel accomplished when I am able to check something off the list as I go. I think that this could be handy when trying to design my day.
  2. Be realistic about goals. - When I sit down to create my list, I always allow for some "flex" time for those things that come up unexpectedly.  I try to set goals for my day but I try to also stay in a frame of mind that it is OK to challenge some things but to think about what the day holds, i.e. I write down that we are going to the park from 11:30 - 12:00 and it rains - well we will not meet this goal today and that is alright!
  3. Get inspired. - I am a crafty person. I love doing this and that and I think that it is important to get my kiddos involved, especially as they hold the same craftiness!  I also think that spending some time working on our alphabet, numbers, and writing our name is just as important- whether your inspiration for making this happen is a white board, chalk board or learning books!
  4. Make Mommy friends. - This is really important. When you are at the park and your kids are playing- that is a common ground with another Mom who has her little's playing as well. Strike up a friendship, make play dates and take time our for a little girls night here and there away from Hubby's and Kiddos. It can make a world of difference.
  5. Decide if you might want to try working from home. - I know, it sounds scary, but there are a ton of things that you can do working at home, and not all of them involve heavy customer service or being on the phones all day.  Many offer flexibility and a chance to find your inner entrepreneur!
